The idea for an old-time drugstore has been from the very beginning a God-given, God-driven venture. Willie and I never even dreamed of opening our own store until one night in February 2002, but as we reflect back on our years together, we can see that it has been God's plan all along! We are excited to be sharing this big "leap of faith" with each and every person who walks through our door, and it is our hope that you will be one of those people.
When you "step in" to our store we want you to "step back". We want you to step back into another era - to a time when you were instantly greeted with a smile and a heartfelt "Hello" - to a time where the bell on the door chimed your arrival and the smell of fresh brewed coffee greeted you as well. We want you to relive precious memories and create new ones too. "Remember when..." is a phrase we want you to use a lot as you view our antique drugstore memorabilia or get a flavorful malt from our 1920's soda fountain. We want you to sit on our red vinyl stools with your memories or with someone special and order a homemade sandwich or a banana split made for two. What we really want is YOU and we hope you will find all you need and more at our old-time drugstore!
We are committed to creating an environment where you feel "right at home". We will be led by faith and we want to share our walk in this adventure with you. Someone once told us that God can turn believing grasshoppers into giants and we are those grasshoppers...We believe! We have two Bible verses we would like to share with each of you who may walk through our door or may venture down a similar path God has chosen for you. "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 We hope you make the choice to come by and see us. And if you do stop by, please, step in, step back, sit a spell .... and remember when.
